The Brief – set a date, invite back guests from the first six episodes, then have some fun and play some music!
We decided to have a show with two distinct halves: the first featuring some fun, festive covers and some original music on a winter or Christmas theme. The second half, to lead us into the new year and celebrate great, local, original live music. To mark the midpoint, we have some seasonally and locally flavoured poems from wordsmith in the mix, Hannah Davies.
We grabbed catch-up chats with these returning artists – and enjoyed a feast from our longstanding show sponsors and original live music supporters, The Crescent Lounge.
We hope you enjoy our first festive special.
