Scarborough Seafest 2014 is drawing near, and as usual the weekend is packed full of bands and musicians doing what they do best. In previous years the music tent has gone down a treat, and a highlight for many of the festival goers. This year is no exception, in fact we’re pretty excited!
The live music kicks off on Friday with ‘Originals Night’, bringing together three bands from the Yorkshire Coast. Asio’s Eyes, The Republic of Trees and The Sub Gents bring you an evening you won’t forget. These local bands will give you a taste of the real local music scene, and will leave you ready for more.
On Saturday you get over 12 hours of music, including the SJT Funky Choir, Dirty Beach and TFI Music. To headline the evening, The Buffalo Skinners come back to Scarboough after playing across the UK and around the world. Through their time studying at the Scarborough University Campus, these guys would often be busking in the town centre. Don’t miss the return of this much loved band.
You would think Sunday would be a day for winding things down, but oh no. You’ll be treated with the sounds of Raven and Tom Davenport to name a few. The Skandals will be your headliners, a Whitby based Ska band that will make sure this party goes out with a bang!
