‘Chatty Man’ Alan Carr is coming to Scarborough Spa next year for an evening of humour, banter and anecdotes.
The BAFTA and British Comedy Award-winning comedian, author and chat show host is returning to his stand-up roots with his new show, Yap, Yap, Yap and will visit Scarborough Spa’s Grand Hall on Friday 10 July as part of a staggering 120 date UK tour.
The tour is a return to more intimate venues after Alan’s arena tours ‘Tooth Fairy Live’ in 2007 and ‘Spexy Beast Live’ in 2011 and the show is set to be one of the highlights of The Spa’s 2015 summer season.
Jo Ager, General Manager of Scarborough Spa said “It is great news for both for The Spa and Scarborough itself that such a well-loved TV personality like Alan Carr is set to visit the town. He is fantastically funny, warm and theatrical comedian and we are looking forward to an incredible night of comedy”.
Alan Carr joins an ever growing list of top comedians who are set to perform at The Spa in 2015 which already includes Noel Fielding (6 February), female comedy trio Fascinating Aïda (21 February), Roy Chubby Brown (1 August) and Jimmy Carr (7 November)
Tickets for the show go on general sale this Friday (7 November) at 9am. All tickets are priced at £30 and will be available from The Spa’s Box Office (01723) 821888 and via www.scarboroughspa.co.uk
