Come see Sheyla Bonnick; the first leading female singer of the Euro-pop group Boney M at The Spa Bridlington on Friday 14 August.
Sheyla Bonnick’s powerful and phenomenal voice still sounds just like the day German singer-songwriter Frank Farian formed the iconic group back in 1973. Over the last 40 years, Sheyla and the Sounds of Boney M have enjoyed many successful tours around the world.
The show brings back the sounds of Boney M, its visual feel and musical history. With songs like ‘Rasputin’, ‘Daddy Cool’, ‘Ma Baker’, ‘Brown Girl in the Ring’, ‘Rivers of Babylon’, and ‘Holiday’, it is easy to imagine yourself back in the days of those Frank Farian tunes and international stories which made the original concept so huge worldwide.
