Indie heroes Blossoms will delight fans next summer by heading to the Yorkshire coast to headline TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre.
The BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominees – who have six top-five albums under their belt, including their latest chart-topper, Gary – will play Scarborough OAT on Thursday July 10.
Blossoms will be joined on the night by very special guests Inhaler and Apollo Junction. Tickets go on sale at 9am Friday October 25 from scarboroughopenairtheatre.co.uk and ticketmaster.co.uk.
Since forming in Stockport in 2013, Blossoms – Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock – have enjoyed widespread success and acclaim.
Their 2016 debut Blossoms topped the UK album chart for two consecutive weeks and went on to earn the band BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominations. 2018’s follow up Cool Like You charted at Number Four, spawning the anthemic singles I Can’t Stand It, There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls) and How Long Will This Last?
Their third studio album, 2020’s Foolish Loving Spaces was the band’s second UK Number 1, while their recent, fourth studio LP Ribbon Around The Bomb gave the band their third UK Number 1 album – with standout tracks Ode To NYC, The Sulking Poet and Care For now well-established as firm fan favourites.
Inhaler are one of rock’s hottest acts right now. The Dublin band’s debut album, It Won’t Always Be Like This, went straight to the top of the UK Album charts and led to tours with such legendary artists as Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Pearl Jam and Arctic Monkeys.
Their 2023 follow up Cuts & Bruises entered the UK charts at Number Two and the band – Elijah Hewson, Robert Keating, Josh Jenkinson and Ryan McMahon – have recently excited fans by teasing new material for 2025.
Leeds indie band Apollo Junction are no strangers to Scarborough OAT crowd, having supported the likes of Kaiser Chiefs at the 8,000-capacity venue in the past.

Blossoms join indie icons Shed Seven and rock favourites Texas and The Script as the first headliners announced for TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre 2025.
A record-breaking 114,000 tickets were sold for 2024’s 18 Scarborough OAT headline shows from the likes of Jess Glynne, Simple Minds, Anne-Marie, Fatboy Slim, Paul Weller, Deacon Blue, Korn, Becky Hill, Tom Jones, Madness, James and comedian Bill Bailey.
