Tomorrow' Ghosts Festival

SIVLive and Absinthe Promotions are really excited to announce that, as part of Whitby’s Goth Festival this October the Pavilion will be hosting TOMORROW'S GHOSTS Festival from Friday 26th – Sunday 28th October 2018.

Kirstin Lavender from Absinthe Promotions said,

“Over the weekend we will be bringing you Fields of the Nephilim, Paradise Lost, The Eden House, Salvation, The Society and Sometime The Wolf. In addition to these great bands, the Dark Days Alternative Market will run from Fri to Sun with many stalls full of beautiful, creative and unusual finds! On the Saturday afternoon, The Sophie Lancaster Foundation will be screening the film Black Roses along with a Q&A with Sophie's Mum, Sylvia to support their campaign. There will also be films screened across the weekend in the theatre to tantalize horror fans."

Dom Stokes Head of SIVLive said,

“It has been well documented that it has been my priority to quickly find a suitable promoter to ensure that the Pavilion continues to host an event during this October’s Goth Festival that delivers for as many partners and stakeholders as possible and I am convinced I have done that.

Absinthe know Whitby and they know the community. I first met the guys at Absinthe Promotions after the first public consultation meeting that I held recently at the venue. When they began talking about how they go about their business, I was immediately drawn to their passion and their drive. More importantly, their commitment to putting on a major music event to appeal and deliver to a real cross section of the Goth and non Goth community during this cultural phenomenon, really shone through.

This is a brand new venture for all of us, who knows what the future holds, and we are all definitely going into with our eyes wide open but I can assure everyone its going to be an exciting time at the venue.”
