Eat Defeat Band

Music fans can see some of Yorkshires best unsigned bands LIVE in Scarborough in 2018 when Scarborough based Coast & County Radio begin a monthly live music event at Apollo Venue.

Each month Mike Lynskey and Jamie King from ‘The Chapter 3 Radio Show’ will be hand picking some amazing unsigned bands from all over Yorkshire and bringing them to Scarborough to play LIVE.

Taking to the stage on Friday 26 January 2018 are Leeds based ‘Eat Defeat’ who blend a shared love of pop music, fast skate punk and upbeat pop punk to create high energy melodic songs, and Scarborough’s own post punk psychedelic rock trio ‘The Subterranean Gentlemen’.

Mike Lynskey, presenter of The Chapter 3 Radio Show said, “We’re really looking forward to getting out of the studio and into a great new venue. Our weekly radio show promotes unsigned music from all over our region, and it’s great that we can bring some of these brilliant bands to our home town. We are recording the bands on the night so we can play their sessions on the radio, and we’ll be DJing after the show playing some great rock and indie tunes until the early hours too.”

The monthly events take place at Apollo Bar and Venue, Castle Road Scarborough, YO11 1BH. Entry to the event is FREE. Doors open at 8pm and the first band takes to the stage at 9pm.

Coast and County Radio is a Scarborough based Digital radio station which is available on DAB Digital radio throughout North Yorkshire or online at www.CoastandCountyRadio.co.uk.

You can tune in to The Chapter 3 Radio Show every Monday night at 8pm.
