After the success of Beverley Folk Festival 2016, plans are already underway for 2017. Now is the chance for revelers to purchase full weekend tickets for just £85 each – a saving of £35 off the full price.

Festival chairman Matt Snowden explained: "We know the 2016 festival was only a few weeks ago, but we're already working hard to ensure 2017 will be another hit. To date, we can already confirm living folk legend Martin Carthy and his equally talented daughter Eliza Carthy are set to perform, as well as False Lights, one of the hottest folk rock groups on the scene."

"The Summer Sizzler ticket deal enables you to experience everything the festival has to offer. This year we had over 100 artists and groups performing, from big names like Kate Rusby and Steeleye Span, to some of the best young artists on the festival scene. We want 2017 to be even better, especially as it will take place during Hull's year as City of Culture - we want to play our part in helping to mark this fantastic opportunity for not just the city, but also Beverley and the wider East Riding area."

More artists for Beverley Folk Festival's 2017 line-up will be announced over the coming weeks. The Summer Sizzler is the best deal currently available, with ticket prices set to rise by the end of summer, so the advice from event organisers is for festival-goers to get them whilst they're hot!

The Summer Sizzler ticket deal can be purchased at £85 through www.beverleyfestival.com (free of charge for children under the age of 12). A weekend camping option is also available.

Beverley Folk Festival takes place from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th June 2017 at Beverley Racecourse.

In addition The Burton Agnes Jazz & Blues Festival, which began its life in 2007, will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2017.

Mega early bird discounted tickets are on sale now for the 2017 festival (held 30th June - 2nd July 2017) for a limited time only.

2017 festival goers can expect highly talented headline performers encompassing fantastic jazz and groovy blues, up-and-coming fresh new talent, and the return of some regular favourites. Surrounded by the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, this unfeasibly atmospheric festival is set in the award-winning grounds and great hall of a grand Elizabethan stately home.

Bands and artists will provide music for all tastes; from those seeking an ambient accompaniment to a chilled glass of wine in the majestic grounds to jazz and blues aficionados wanting to experience the star performers first-hand.

Delicious baking from our courtyard cafe will be served in the tea tent with locally roasted coffee. Field and Forage will also serve a fabulous range of locally sourced food on the food lawn, next to our 1963 vintage ice cream van.

Award-winning Wold Top beers will also be on tap - brewed just a few miles away from Burton Agnes.

There will also be camping available in the beautiful surroundings of the adjacent Park Field, with hot showers, balloon artistry and face painting. The highlights of Burton Agnes' grounds also include a maze, giant games, jungle garden and a woodland walk with forest creatures to find.

For a very limited time, a mega early bird discount on weekend tickets is currently available at £20 off the full 2017 price.

Purchase tickets from www.burtonagnes.com/jazz_festival/tickets_and_prices or by calling 01262 490324 (weekdays 9am - 5pm) or alternatively from any of the shops at Burton Agnes Hall.
